How to apply wallpaper around sockets and switches?

There are a few different ways to apply wallpaper around sockets and switches.

Another option is to use self-adhesive wallpapers that come in rolls. You simply peel off one layer of the paper, stick it up against the wall where you want your wallpaper, and then press it firmly into place with a dry cloth or your hand. This method eliminates the need for any tools or removal later on; however, make sure that your chosen wallpaper has adhesive properties if you choose this approach. 

Last but not least, some people prefer removable vinyl sheets that can be placed over entire walls or individual sockets and switches in order to add an extra bit of decoration or functionality (like controlled lighting). These sheets are easy to apply and remove without damage or messiness--a definite plus if you plan on changing your decor frequently!
